First PC Build (Help needed)

So Im building a gaming/normal use PC (my first build) mainly for games like Battlefield 4 for settings like high or max on 60+ FPS. I'm trying to make it as much as budget friendly as possible. Any suggestions or alternatives for better and/or cheaper components? Also is an overclocked 770 better than a normal 780?

You have a great GPU and Motherboard but that CPU will probably hold back the rest of your system. Either go for an i5 4670K and Z87 motherboard or save some $$$ and get the i5 4430 and a H77 or H81 motherboard. You could get a cheap H81 mobo and then a PCIe audio card if you want a better gaming experience.

I would recommend an Asus H81-PLUS and an i5 4570.

No point of getting a z87 board with a locked(non k) board. Either get an unlocked processor (4670k) or change the mobo and get an h87 mobo.
Also your case is costly for your budget.
SSD is not mandatory, but it does speed up your overall system performance. so best combination is a 120 gb ssd + the wd blue.

Yes but do you need to be able to overclock? Are you comfortable tweaking CPU voltages and multipliers in the BIOS? If not stick with a non-K processor such as the i5 4570 and a H87 or H81 (no RAID) motherboard and save some money. Very expensive Z87 motherboards have auto overclocking features.

Im kind of new to this, so i don't think i want to overclock and bust my pc. Will getting a non K affect my performance in BF4 (framewise)? Otherwise I'll use use your suggestion of i5 4570 because it seems like a good deal. I checked the Asus H81but there werent that many good review for it, any other good motherboards that will be compatible with the i5 4570?

Or Asus H87-Pro. I would always choose an Asus mobo. Perhaps the reviews for H87 mobos mostly complain about lack of features compared to Z87 boards but that is to be expected.

I've been debating between these two, which one is better?

Apparently the Asrock one is for gaming, but there are review of poor build quality.
