hi this is my first pc build and i would like to know if this motherboard is compatible with my case
motherboard : msi fm2-a75ma-e35
case : zalman z11 plus
if there is a better case i could buy for the same price please say thank you

You should try this case instead.

And yes; I am sure. Almost all ATX cases support Micro ATX motherboards. And the Zalman Z11 Plus says that it supports Micro ATX.

Well, I guess I should have phrased my question differently: Does he need the mid-tower ATX? Sure it would be spacier, but it would also be more expensive.

Good point, sorry if it sounded like I was arguing with you. I was mainly asking for my own benefit. I knew that cases usually had multiple holes for the standoffs, but I didn't know that those were to accommodate the different form factors. So thanks for the lesson on motherboards and cases!
