[SOLVED] *First PC Build* I'm going for a 'Tony Stark' Aesthetic and need some advice/answers.

Me and my wife are big marvel fans, I'm building my first PC and here is what I need to figure out, I want my PC to do 2 things.

1. Turn on via voice. So far I have done my research into WOL commands and plan to use one of those, still working on how to get my android to respond to 'Jarvis'. (I tried one app from the play-store that did not work.

2. As soon as the PC has power I want it to play a sound clip. I don't want it to wait to play it for the 5 or 10 second boot time. So even if that means buying a mini speaker for inside my case that is fine. I just want to find a way to program and trigger that and that is more what this post is for.

That is rechargeable via USB so I can have it hooked into a spot on my hub or something, then I would need to know somewhere I could get a low voltage contactor wired into the MOBO. I am planning to get an Asrock 450m Pro4, if there is a 12v output or something. Or even one that activates when the PC is turned on from the PSU? I would take the push button control which is just a NO/NC relay and wire it into a contactor. Hypothetically as soon as the PC gets power, the contractor flips states and the audio file plays during boot. The wiring doesn't scare me, I'm an electrician by trade, I more need to know where I will be able to get outputs from.

Will there be a spot coming off my PSU I could wire an extra USB always hot to power it? (I'm figuring I can hide all of this in the bottom tray my PSU sits in.)

Are there outputs (or even power wires going to the MOBO that I can tap into) to trigger a contactor??

A header on the motherboard, and wires leading to the LED on the front panel switch.

Voltage? Generally 3.3v for a blue LED.

Here is my next issue. Most of these contactors are short press and long press for the buttons. Example being a short press (connection) of the play button is play/pause, and a long press is a setting change... that means if I just make it a closed contactor that it will count as a long press instead of just a trigger. Any ideas?

I was referring to the power LED as just being a trigger to indicate "I am now on"

is that a momentary 3.3 volts or a constant?

I assumed it would work well to tap into to be a trigger for a contactor that would then close a circuit that would be hooked to the paly button. This 3.3V worked as an on switch

The Power On LED might be able to provide an initial signal that power is applied. Thisis long before any BIOS or boot up.

Do you know of a 12v that comes on at that point as well? Or a 5v? I found relays that are times to either come on for a certain period of time or come of after a period of time. But they come in 5 or 12. A 5v is rated to change stages around 3.7-6.3 apparently so I'm worried a 3.3 won't do it.

Yes, the power on LED is a constant. The LED stays lit.

So I figured this out. Products used linked at the end.

I found a timed relay that gets triggered by anywhere from 3v-30v. Also the Mp3 module would play upon powering up. So, off the PSU of my pc I’ll be using a molex->female usb wire, and then a usb-double tail micro usb. The first micro usb powers the contactor. The second I splice the wire open and grab the +5v wire (red in my case) and interrupt it, running through the N/O side of the contactor. And plug the interrupted 5v micro usb into the mp3 module to power it when the circuit is closed. I then obviously load the mp3 I want to play onto a fat32 formatted sd-card, insert that into the mp3 module and wire in the speakers. I set the timer on the relay to only open for the length that my Mp3 file is.

From there I’m going to tap into the ~3.3v wire that turns on with the LED for the front IO panel power button. That means when the PC turns on, that light turns on immediately, that triggers the relay to close for ‘X’-seconds, that powers up the module to immediately play an Mp3 file, and then turns the mp3 module back off when it’s finished. This relay will only run once per time it receives power, and not loop.
