Hi everyone, I'm planning to build a PC over the summer for the first time and I'm looking for some suggestions and opinions on my build. I want to be able to run my games at ultra/high graphics at 1080p for at least 2 or so years. My budget is around $1000, but that's flexible. Below are the specs I'm looking at.

Case: Corsair Carbide Series 275R Tempered Glass

GPU: MSI GTX 1060 6GB, EVGA GTX 1060 6GB, or ASUS Turbo GTX 1060 6GB (I'm not sure what brand to go with)

Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z370 AORUS Gaming 5 (I don't know too much about motherboards, is this a good choice to go with the rest of my build?)

CPU: Intel i5-8600

Storage: SSD 970 EVO NVMe M.2 1TB

RAM: HyperX FURY DDR4 (2x8GB) 2666mhz or VENGEANCE® LED 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz (Not sure what brand to go with here either)

PSU: Corsair RMx Series, RM550x, 550W, Fully Modular Power Supply, 80+ Gold Certified

Thanks in advance!

GPU: EVGA, two fan version is better
MB: if not overclocking like the 8600, get cheap B360 MB with 4 slots for ram
SSD: super expensive and overkill, 500 gb normal SATA SSD and 1 tb HDD is popular choice. NVME will not help FPS.
RAM: both are good brands
PSU: good choice, but check if Seasonic Focus/EVGA supernova G2/G3 is cheaper.

Thanks for the advice!
