Hello everyone, So i'm in the middle of building my first PC and I wanted to get some people who are experienced in this kind of thing to see if i'm getting bang for my buck and if everything will work so my budget is around $1600 i'll be playing games like Fortnite, PUBG, WWE 2K18 & Rocket League this is what I have selected so far (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PTw26s) the only thing i'm missing is a MOBO but I can't find one that wants to work with my CPU Cooler (NZXT Kraken x52) any suggestions on a MOBO would be great. Total Price $1404 including the case.

AMD is suggesting to compare the Ryzen 7 2700X against the Core i7-8700K and the Ryzen 5 2600X against the Core i5-8500K.

AMD Ryzen 5 2600X specifications:
Supported memory: DDR4-2933

Ryzen 2000 Series have higher memory speeds capabilities than earlier models. When overclocking you can go up to 3733MHz. Using DDR4-2400MHz memory is a slow speed for that CPU and will only hurt performance.

For motherboard, if you use a 300 Series Chipset you may need a different CPU to update BIOS before using the 2600X. I suggest the X470 Chipset model motherboard:
ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero

If gaming is major usage, I will get 8600k instead with PUBG...
Your ram is too slow for Ryzen, 3200 preferred, not much diff for Intel though.
My take if you have bought the cooler already, if you can return it I will get an H5 instead:
