First pc build not booting in bios - please help

My specs are:
4670k
Z87 g45 gaming mobo
4gb ddr3 ram
700w cooler master psu
Gtx 580
1tb seagate hdd
Cooler master seidon 120m water cooler

I have watched lots of YouTube videos about building computers and I'm 99% sure I have wired it up properly. However when I turn my computer all the fans run and LEDs are lit and the water cooler is pumping as far as I can tell and all seems to be good. But after being on for about 30 seconds it turns off for 2 seconds and turns back on and stays on. I have tried switching out the RAM and that isn't it, I then took the motherboard out on the motherboard box and turned it on again incase it was it was in contact with the case but still no luck... My thoughts are that the processor is overheating somehow or the motherboard is somewhat faulty but I am fairly inexperienced and was hoped you guys could help me solve my problem

Bios beep codes are your important . If you dont have speaker on the mb then get one

Or if the board has an LED for error codes read the manual and find out what is wrong .


Check that the monitor is plugged in to the graphics card and not the motherboard .

If it is then remove the graphics card and try one of the mb graphics ports
