First PC Build Parts List...Feedback Please

Good evening all. I am looking to finally build my first PC but I have some questions. I'm designing this machine not to play all the highest end games. Rather I'm building something that can run a few virtual machines, do video editing and play one or two games (really just hoping to play Need For Speed Payback). I'm trying to be economical since I don't require the highest end parts, and this is the absolute top of my budget anyway. I just want to make sure all of the parts on my list are compatible with each other. That's my first question (will all these parts work with each other).

So that's my list. Is there anything else I need (extra fans, etc) and are there any other misc things I should make sure and get to actually build the thing? I'm a 100% novice when it comes to building a PC so anything else I should know? For the purposes I described, what do you folks think of the build?

I honestly feel like at the budget you're looking at and the level of components you are trying to assemble, you should just look into getting a prebuilt system.

That's just my opinion though.

DO NOT waste your money on the FX series. It was garbage when it came out and even more so now. Do you need a Case?

Seems like a good build. Would it worth me exchanging that GPU for something like this (https://www.amazon.com/MSI-RX-580-8G-OC/dp/B06XZQMMHJ/ref=bdl_pop_ttl_B06XZQMMHJ)? Amazon sells them together for not too much more expensive.
Also, is there anything else I will need? Any kind of other parts I'll need, like maybe cables, extra fans etc?

Up to you. If your monitor has free sync, then the 580 will be a better fit. Both are very nearly comparable in performance.

You might need an extra fan or two, just make sure the motherboard has enough headers for these fans and the ones that might come with the case. You should be okay without.
