First pc build shopping done

Hello, I just spent the last 12 hours intensely researching and buying parts for a pretty good pc while keeping it as cheap as possible without skimping too much on performance, never built a pc before so hopefully When everything arrives it falls into place without any major hangups. Give me your honest opinions please

Evga gtx 970 175$<br>
GeIL EVO SPEAR 8GB 2 x 4GB 2133mhz 70$<br>
Evga 550W psu 43$<br>

Rosewell gaming atx Mid Tower Computer Case 3 fans installed 24$
Also got a dinky 750 hdd for free so spent around 525 after everything did I do good?

Yeah, you did ok. The PSU could have been better though. And keep in mind you have bought older generation components, although it wont make too much difference in this case.
