Hey I'm looking for advice for my first build that i will be building within the next 2 weeks.

Budget is $1000 but i am willing to go a bit higher if it would make a huge impact on the build.

I plan on playing most AAA games such as Overwatch, Destiny 2, Apex, Pubg, CoD, League of legends, Cyberpunk, R6, Borderlands 3, Hunt Showdown.

I just picked up this monitor on sale https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/del...hgf/apd/210-arbc/monitors-monitor-accessories, so I want to take advantage of the gsync and probably build around Nvidia. I would love to get a nice rbg setup I can control.

The only components i will reuse is a 256gb ssd, keyboard, and mouse so i will need a full tower setup. I live near a Microcenter in Colorado so i can go there for specific components if necessary.

Thanks in advance.

... aaaaaand I busted budget by 60 cents. That said, this will be a solid performer. You can drop the Intel SSD if you want, but it is a spacious 512GB NVMe drive for a really good price. The highlights here are the afordable, yet powerful Ryzen 5 3600 and the GTX 2060, which will make good use of that new GSync monitor.

I like how this looks a lot.

My only hesitation is deciding between a gpu with 6gb vs 8gb. Is the 2gb difference worth ~$150 increase in price? What will the main differences be that i might be running into?

Well, that $150 increase is going to be a lot more than just GPU memory. You're talking about going from an RTX 2060 to something like an RTX 2060 Super or RTX 2070. That is also a big leap in performance. That said, most games aren't going to take advantage of those additional 2 GB unless you are running them at 4K or using the system for VR gaming. For 1080p 144hz the RTX 2060 will be a good card.
