I am completely new to the building of computers, but I was hoping I could get advice on what parts I should get.( As an example, if someone might say I should get This video card over This one...or if i should change the whole set-up completely.)

Anyways, I am hoping to come across a combination of parts that will be lower than $1000(and please, feel free to be hundreds of dollars lower than $1000).

If you need information on what I hope to be doing on this computer, I would like to be able to run games smoothly(I guess 30-50 is an OK range?),Like:Arma II/DayZ, Minecraft.

The combination below is under $1000 by 100, but if you have advice on a COMPLETELY BETTER set-up than the one below that would be greatly appreciated if you were to mention it.

CP: Intel Core i5-3570 3.4GHz Quad-Core $214.99
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100 92.0 CFM Liquid $99.99
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Professional-M Micro ATX LGA1155 $142.86
Memory: A-Data 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 $62.99
Storage: Crucial M4 64GB 2.5" SSD $87.64
Video Card: Asus Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB $113.98
Case: Apevia X-Plorer2 Black/Red ATX Mid Tower $48.98
Power Supply: Apevia 700W ATX12V / EPS12V $45.98
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer $19.96
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) $89.98
=$914.35

Well, Are you planning to do overclocking, because You do not have a unlocked processor.

You have paired it with a board for overclocking and a cpu cooler for overclocking. If you are not planning on overclocking you can loose the cooler and go with a H77 chipset motherboard.

Get Ram clocked at 1600 Mhz

Completely change the power supply, a 500 w + from Corsair/ Seasonic / XFX/ Antec 80 plus certified.

Fitting in a better graphics card would be better. I would be happy to recommend a build. But wouldnt want to unless i knew if you were planning to overclock or not.

If you're not over clocking then go with the 3350P to save some money. I'd also upgrade to 1600 MHz ram. If you plan on gaming with high graphics I'd upgrade that video card to at least a 7850 if you're set on AMD.

I do plan on overclocking but I guess I need to be alot more informed than my current state, so i will look into overclocking but yes, I probably will overclock.

You need more storage too. You've got an SSD, but only 64GB. Usual practice is get a small SSD (usually 120-128GB, but you can make do with 64GB) for your OS and a few key apps and games, then a mechanical HDD 1-2TB for everything else.
I'd suggest something like:
SSD: 128GB Samsung 840 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147188
HDD: 1TB Seagate - $75 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148840

If you forgo overclocking, (ditch the cooler) like the above posters suggest, you should still be able to stay within budget.
+1 for a better PSU too, and a better graphics card (like 7850) if you can stretch to it.

Alright, so I guess I'll go with the 128 Samsung 840 and upgrade to the 7850 with the graphics card, and i do plan on overclocking. I really do appreciate the help those of you who have commented keep it up if there is any more advice to give, and tenaciousK, what RAM would you go with for this set-up?, thanks
