First PC Build Will Not Boot

I'm new to building PC's. I've assembled my very first PC build and it does not boot at all. No POST, no beeps, the only sign of life is that the CPU fan 'twitches' upon hitting the power button. I've tried everything in the stickies and nothing is working. I've also tried taking the video card out and booting; still nothing. Disconnected the SSD and tried, nothing. I've checked all of the connections several times over and they all seem to be in order; sitting well and in their correct spots. Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

CPU - AMD; Athlon X4 860k Black Edition Quad Core

Video Card - EVGA 02G-P4-3753-KR G-Sync Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti Superclocked 2GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card

Case - Azza CSAZ-206S; ATX Mid Tower

Optical Drive - Samsung; SH-224DB/BEBE

SSD - Samsung EVO 850 120 GB Solid State Drive; MZ-75E120B/AM

HDD - Western Digital; 1 TB 3.5 inch SATA 7200 RPM

disconnect the front case buttons from the mb

Try touching a screwdriver tip to the two power pins on the mb for a fraction of a second
