i am new to pc building, however i want to build a gaming pc. I plan on overclocking(a good amount, but nothing extreme), and after researching and looking at parts, i have come up with this:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K
GPU: GTX 760
Power Supply: Corsair TX650M
Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master V8
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912
Fans: 1 200mm, 4 120mm
This will purely be a gaming machine, and i would like to know if this build is a good one for $1000. Also, any advice or pointing out mistakes that i have made (cooling and compatibility issues mainly) are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
