Well I have been planning on building a new PC which I have done my research and finally put one together. However, I just wanted some input on how my build actually will do in performance from someone that knows what they are doing. The parts are as follow:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570k 3.4GHz Quad-Core
Motherboard: ASRock Z75 Pro3 ATX LGA1155
Memory/RAM: Kingston Fury Black Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 2GB Superclocked ACX
Power Supply: Corsair 600W ATX12V
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit)
Case: Fractal Design Define R4

Also regarding the video card, does the brand differ on the quality of the card? Should I go with the EVGA or ASUS GTX 770? Or does this really make no difference what so ever?

You've got a fairly solid build. I dunno about the motherboard though, looks kinda low-end, lacking in features.

Also, while I don't know how ASUS or EVGA do their things, brands do build their cards differently, so cards from different brands might pack different features. Some have higher clock speeds, better coolers, some come with software to help you tweak your GPU settings. It's up to you on what seems best for you.

Well what do you recommend as a motherboard? I don't want anything too high end or expensive just something that'll do the job.

No that is separate from the build because I am just gonna use the keyboard and mouse from my current computer I use now. And I already included windows in the build.
