As said in the title, this is my very first pc build.Being new to this, I would appreciate some feedback and possible advice on my build.

Take it this is a gaming rig. I do not recommend going AMD. 3yr old tech that is on a dead platform. That PSU is not very good quality either. This would be a better all around system.

Based on tests I've seen the fx6300 out preforms the i3.
 


What tests? If we are talking about multi threaded tests, 6300 will win.

But in gaming, i3 is better.
 


I went back to review the video, and in the video the fx6300 was OC so it was actually an unfair test.
Stock for Stock, the i3 is better for gaming.
