Hello everyone. The following is my first PC build which I will mostly play CS:GO on and do some basic computer use. I think the parts that i chose are more than enough for what I'm planning to do, I just want someone whose more experienced than me to tell me, if everything is ok - compatible so I can proceed to my purchase.

Here's the system:

Case: Bitfenix Comrade Windowed
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460
Motherboard: MSI H97 GAMING 3
Memory: Kingston Savage 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 @1866Mz (I'm aware that I will only be able to use 1600Mhz with this motherboard)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 950 2GB
Power Supply: EVGA 500B 80+ Bronze

Thanks in advance. :)

Hey Friend,
A big congratulations on your first gaming PC...very cool that you're jumping into it; you'll find a great community of support and AWESOMENESS in other PC gamers :)

Your specs look great, everything is compatible. Folks may point out some small changes, but you should feel confident with your choices.

Sadly that deal isn't available to me since the shipping from the US would cost as much as the PSU to get here. 😛 I've read johnnyGURU's review about this PSU and it seems to be a very good - average to good solution - according to him. EDIT:[strike]What about the Thermaltake Smart SE 530W??[/strike]

It had crossed my mind before but i decided to stay on the performance level of the 950.

Thanks a lot! :)

I'd also encourage a *slightly* stronger GPU if you're a big gamer...but I understand budgets needing to remain in place. You made a good decision on the i5...and wont feel compelled to update CPU+motherboard for a while to come. You can always sell your 950 in the future and get a 960 (or equivalent at that time). Take care dude.
