My parents are sceptical about me building my first pc. They feel I might go wrong. What are the things I need to know before buying all the parts I need.
Processor amd a8 7600
Motherboard asus a68hm-k ddr fm2plus
Ram klevv neo ddr3 8gb(4x2)
GPU sapphire radeon R7 250 1gb
Storage WD blue desktop 1TB
PowerSupply iball marathon 500w peak(is this good or bad?)

Here is a handy guide on how to post a request for first build:

In general, we need your budget, country, intended use for the computer, date of purchase, and several other things you will find in there. The build you posted is quite bad, and a completely different one would be advised. We will do our best to help once you edit your original post with required data. thank you!

As for the actual building of the computer, the only tools you'll need are your brain and a phillps head screwdriver. There are plenty of online videos you can watch which will take you step by step through the entire process. It's really not that hard. Just think of it as a somewhat expensive 3D jigsaw puzzle.

The videos I typically recommend are from NeweggTV and I suggest you have your parents watch them as well so they can see just how easy it really is.

NeweggTV - How to Build a Computer Part 2
NeweggTV - How to Build a Computer Part 3

Take a look at these and then decide if you want to have the parents take a look.

It's actually an APU and I heard that the ram is one of the best. 2133 mhz.

so you are just planning to use the graphics on the APU?

Nope, discrete GPU, Sapphire radeon R7 250 1gb. Upgrading it to future after I've accumulated some cash.

As the first poster stated, we need some info. All the parts you're going for are old and aren't optimized well enough for today's games.
PS. What do you want to use it for? For light gaming and home use this is adequate.
