First pc build

So I'm planning to build, I need something to play and study on. I'm going for:

1080 ti from gigabyte
I7 8700 non k
Kraken x62
Meshify c case
Ripjaws V 3200mhz
3tb Seagate barracuda
Samsung 860 evo 500gb
Evga supernova 650w g2 80+
I'm still not sure what motherboard to use. The z370 gaming 3 from gigabyte seems perfect for my budget but some said I need a gaming 7 for my 8th gen i7.

The problem with this build might be the case, I'm unsure if meshify c can fit the gpu. I wanted my radiator to be on top. I would rather change the case since i don't wanna switch to a mini gpu or smaller radiator to be honest.

It's a complicated build but thank you for any help, if you got any idea on what I should change in my build I'll be glad to hear your advices

Since you're not going for a K suffix processor part, you don't need a Z series chipset. Rather you can make do with an H370/B360 chipset board. You will also need to drop down to DDR4-2666MHz if you go with a chipset below Z series. In short, 8th Gen K suffix processors need Z370/Z390 motherboard.

The GPU will fit.
