Hi there,

I'll be attempting my first ever PC build. It will be used for some gaming and internet browsing, cloud storage etc so the speed is a must. Please advise if the below spec looks good:

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2Ghz 6core 12 thread
Noctua NH U12s
MSI B350 Tomahawk
G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4 3000 MHz
WD Black 250GB M.2 SSD + 1TB Performace HDD Bundle
GTX1070 GeForce
Seasonic 650W 80+

Feel free to recommend your options. I'm on a budget of £400-£500.

Much appreciate your help!

Thanks,
K

I had a Ryzen 2700X and now have a 3700X.
The stock Wraith Prism cooler that comes with it is fine for cooling on both of them.

That power supply is fine for an RX 570 but just make sure you get an appropriate one if you get a beefier card.
You can google graphics card power supply to find a match for any of the cards.

Personally I would have that 250 GB SSD just for Windows and a separate one for games.

I would suggest you go for a Ryzen 2700 or even a 3600 if you can afford it as it's not much more.
There is a big performance increase from a 1600 to a 2700/3600 for gaming.

Thank you! How about the rest? Would you suggest changing anything? what do you think about below:

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor
ARCTIC Freezer 33 eSports ONE (Black/Green) CPU Cooler
ASRock B450M PRO4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Samsung 970 Evo Plus 250 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
EVGA SuperNOVA G3 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
+ Graphic card, maybe rx 570..

Feel free to suggest any replacements.. Not very knowledgeable when it comes to hardware just going by some reviews etc so your help is much appreciated it.
