Hi guys what do you think about this build? Im am going to buy it soon but just wanted to make sure it was a good build. I don't know what case I should get. The seperate case link is the one I like more but I don't know if its any good. Also its cheaper and I want the cheapest one possible. If you know of any cheap white cases with windows that would be awesome. Thanks :D

Solution
looks like a good build.
I'd swap the HDD with a WD drive though, Seagates 2TB+ have a bad reputation of failing within the first 18 months

Looks good there are some parts that I would change:

1. If you do not plan to overclock your CPU, I would suggest to go with the locked version instead of unlocked one to save some money. And you can use this motherboard which is currently on sale to save even more money alongside the locked CPU.

2. As this guy said, switch to this HDD which is again on sale, currently.

With these recommendations, that's ~$38 saved, while it's not much, you can add ~$62 and land yourself a decent SSD which I strongly recommend to speed things up since you're already on a nice budget.

I plan on over clocking. Someone said I should go with the unlocked version and just get the gtx 1070 gpu. Any thoughts?

Yeah... I'm over my budget by about $400.

I need help selecting a motherboard though. I need a cheaper one as the MSI z170 is i think 1$20 atm.

Here are my builds I'm deciding between.

If you can use this rebate this is an excellent board for less than 100$

However of youre already so far over budget the 6500 build seems more appropriate.
You can also go for a GTX1060/Rx480 for the time being amd Upgrade the card when you got the Cash to do so. You might need to tweak some settings to.get to the target fps of 144 though.

It's only a difference of $55 atm for the 6600k. I already bought the cooler off amazon and for some reason it was $3 dollars. I want one that will last me a long time so I don't have to buy more stuff.
