First PC help!

Hello everyone,
I'm finally going to get my first gaming PC, however i'm on bit of a budget and stuck between two choices:
- Building a new one with a gtx 1060 6gb, i5 7600, 8gb DDR4 RAM and 1TB HDD, for about $800.
-Or a 1 year old system, with GTX 970 4gb, i7 2600k, 12GB DDR3 Ram, 600GB hdd and watercooling for $600.
What do you guys think I should get?

If you can get a 7600k instead, I'd really go for the first one and if you can't, I'd still go for the first one. Just make sure to have a good power supply also.

on the first build swap out cpu and mb for an 8400 and a b/h atx mb. if your close to a local micro center look at there combo deals.
