Me and my dad are building a PC for the first time and have come up against a issue. We have everything installed and plugged in and currently only the lights on the motherboard will turn on and nothing else powers up including fans and RGB on all parts

Here is a list of the parts I’m using

Motherboard: Asus Prime z390-p
CPU: Intel core i7 9700kf
GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 KO gaming
Case: Corsair 110R
CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 RGB
Power Supply: Thermaltake smart 500w
SSD: Kingston a400 240gb
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 4tb

PLEASE HELP thank you

How about gigabyte gp-b700h $109 at Canadian computers
Umm, no. That's a bad one. Try this one instead

EDIT: I am not sure about their presence in Canada, though. But from what I can tell, they make decent PSUs. You might have problems when you need to return it, though. But it's actually something that is not out of stock and not woefully priced, so I'm not sure. I think you have to aim for the Antec, honestly.

Corsair CX-650M might be another option, but it's usually under 100 CAD, so it's not the proper price here. It's also an older, inferior design that is different from the non-modular one.
