First post here, Anyone have an idea on whats happening to my pc?

I woke up yesterday and turned my pc on to play gta, it crashed and said i had memory leaks so i tried to open up Task Manager and it wouldn't load whatsoever, it didn't give me any error messages, so i tried opening it many different ways and non worked although i kept getting error messages like 10 minutes after saying "Windows: cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access them." I looked online and did the whole permissions thing and i had them, so i contacted Microsoft and they tried to make me buy some package thing so i backed out. I tried to reset my computer and i still got the error message and it sometimes said that it failed to reset. I dont have anything important to loose so ill take any advice i can get. I have a spare 1tb hard drive so that is an option.

Sounds like a dying hard drive, yeah go ahead and reinstall windows on that other hard drive and see if you get the same issues.
