First professional setup! Help me choose the right monitor :)

Hey guys, i'm finally building my first ever setup, and I wanna start up by choosing my monitor first. Specs needed: (1920x1080, 144-240Hz, 1ms response time, g-sync or free sync or none doesnt really matter, and it has to have good colors out of the box)!

My local shop has those monitors in stock that fit me needs, so help me choose one of those:

I dont wanna spend too much on my monitor, max 400 Euros. So those are my final conclusions. The BenQ Zowie XL2430 being the most expensive one, im not really into it. I really like the Samsung C24FG73, it is 144hz, full hd, curved display and the quantum dot tech. If anyone has had experience with those monitors mentioned above, help me choose the right one for the next 5 yrs of my life

Every single one will work for 5+ years. If you want curved, sure go for it. My favorite is Asus, and it has nice warranty for 3 years so yeah. All those are good.

If I were you I'd go with the Samsung. The quantum dot tech is really really nice. Additionally, that panel covers 125% of the sRGB spectrum and has great black levels, so colors will be very accurate. Probably one of the best pictures you can get without HDR support. I really don't see a downside with going with it. I think it will be the best out of the bunch here.

I never used curved displays tho, so im a bit worried about that. I heard people say that reading is pixelated due to the curved pixels. The panel is also VA compared to other TA panels, im mostly gonna use for esports titles, such as csgo and dota. Is that bad? Also the screen size is only 23.5" compared to the others like the alienware which is 25". Is it that noticeable?

Reading is pixelated due to the curved pixels? I've never seen or heard of that. Who says that? I need to ask them some questions.

Any of these will be great for esports titles, if not a little overkill, but I can relate to the wish for high quality visuals. I'd love to have any of these monitors. I can tell you that at work I use a 27" display and at home I have a 23". I don't notice the difference very much. My monitor at home is mounted on an arm so I move it as needed. Generally I have it against the wall because 23" is big enough for a desk. My work display is quite a ways away from me on my desk, so that might have something to do with my perception. If the 27" were at the same distance as my 23", I'd be turning my head to look at things instead of just moving my eyes... and that would be tiring.

Can you go to the shop and have them show you what each looks like?

Bust your budget if you need to for a monitor; it will be with you for a very long time.

You are looking at 24" monitors.
They do not benefit from a curve.

I think you will find a wider monitor to be more immersive for gaming.
Wider will benefit more from a curve.

If your games are fast action shooters, then you may have to give a bit on image quality and get a faster tn panel.
I think fast-sync/adaptive sync, and other such features will obviate the need to pay more for for g.sync.
Freesync is for amd graphics cards, g.sync is for newer nvidia cards.

If image quality and colors are important, look at ips panels which also have wider 178/178 viewing angles.

All the above is why you should to to the shop and see the candidates in person.
