First rebuild and I am missing something

I just changed my mobo, processor, dvd drive, and case in my computer. Now it doesn't see my dvd drive and I can't connect to the internet. I am a noob at computers, but am pretty logical. I am using windows 7 that was on one of my old hds. Was there something I should have changed in Windows? Thanks in advance for any help.

Did you install all the drivers on your motherboard CD? That would prevent you from connecting to the internet if you missed the LAN drivers.

You need to reinstall Windows after you change hardware like the mobo or cpu. Since you did both, your OS is struggling to figure out what's going on. Reinstall OS and that should remedy your issues.
