First sound card

I have never bought a sound card before and I was wondering which one I should get? I listen to music all the time and do some gaming. I just ordered 5.1 speakers, and Im wondering which sound card to get? If you can help thx in advance.

You should get what you can afford. For $20 I would get the Chaintech AV-710. For around $80 I would probably look at the X-Fi.
