I built a PC a few years back with everything new except the hard drive. I threw in an OLD one I found laying around.

I want to get an SSD finally so I've been doing a little reading. 250 GB should be fine for me. I don't really have any specific uses just general storage for now and I'll be installing windows 7 on it.

Looking at these 3.

Crucial MC300 275GB - $85

PNY CS1311 240GB - $65

SK Hynix SL308 250GB - $65

Any huge difference between the 3?

I'm open to any other suggestions also. I'd prefer to stay in the $60-$70 range but I have some room if it's worth it. I know any SSD will be a nice step from the old HDD I have in but naturally I'd like to get the best available in my price range. I know the EVO is good but that's a little more than I wanna spend. Thanks!!

Thanks! At that point I won't if the Samsung makes more sense. I could have sworn I saw it for $90 somewhere last night.

Is there anything specific that's not that good about the SK? The reason I was leaning towards that one was because it seemed to get really high praise.
