So, I asked this a couple days ago, but didn't get any replies. Probably because of my screwed up title.
This is probably a really stupid question, but I just want to be sure.
Are there are precautions I should take before starting up a computer that has been left sitting for months. During the period of disuse, it has been plugged into the wall with the PSU turned OFF.
I do not know if the PSU could have suffered any wear despite being off. Obviously, any other component would not have a chance for any wear because there was no power running through them, but I'm mainly concerned about the PSU, as I have always seemed to have bad luck with them.
Thank you.
