First startup on new build

Hi,

I am a complete beginner when it comes to builds an such, so bear with me.

Ive recently built a new computer using the ASUS Strix Z270H Gaming motherboard. As soon as I exit BIOS and Windows 7 Starts (Using my old HDD), all of my USB slots dies, I'm assuming the motherboard doesnt recognize the OS.

What do I need to do, I do not have drivers installed for anything, is that the problem?

Also please respond like im 5 years old.

Do a clean install. Dont use a hdd with an OS on it from something else. On a newer system

What you're getting now will happen, and it'll probably crash sooner or later
