if another player attacks me and i block with a creature with first strike
would it kill his creature and not mine if they are both a 2/2 ?

Yep. First Strike means that your guy inflicts damage--and its opponent
suffers the consequences of that damage--before said opponent gets
to deal damage itself. In this case, the first strike damage kills it,
so it never gets to deal any damage.

Yes.

If there are cretures with first strike (or double strike) involved, there
are two combat-damage steps, not one. In the first, _only_ creatures with
first strike or double strike assign combat damage and put it on the stack
- that's your 2/2. (That resolves, and kills his 2/2.)

In the second, any surviving attackers/blockers that _did not yet_ assign
combat damage get to do so, plus any that have double strike. His 2/2 did not
survive, so doesn't get to "hit back"; if it had been a 2/3, it would have
survived, and would kill your 2/2 in this step.
