Solution
I actually like the Zalman Z11 Plus, I built my system with it.

The 8350 should last you a good while. I think you'll be fine. The i5 is actually worse at rendering and heavily multithreaded tasks like editing, etc.

The 8350 makes more sense for you. If all you did was game, then Intel would be a good fit too, but with your rendering and music needs, the 8350 should be a better performer for less money.

What are you doing with it?

EDIT: Gaming? Overclocking?

Let me say this, if you're going to be doing mostly productivity, the AMD will be effective and save you money. If you're going to be gaming, and want to go Intel, the 3570k is a better buy than the 4670k. You will get virtually identical performance in games and save yourself on the order of $60 or more depending on the components you choose.

For gaming, the 3570k has a slight edge over the 8350...it's usually about 3-5 FPS .

Even Tom's Hardware does not recommend the 4670k for a gaming CPU. They recommend the 3570k.

Alright I think i came to a conclusion with the 8350 build and i will see about the case. One last thing 550watt power supply is fine?

8350 along with the 7790 will run games like bf3 fc3 crysis3 etc...?
