That's the build I've contructed so far, mainly for gaming and personal use. If it can run witcher 3 720p at 60 fps I'll be one happy camper.

Anyway, a couple of questions... I'm not certain that I chose a good motherboard, if anyone could reassure me in my pick or perhaps make any better suggestions that'd be great.

Second, I noticed that the build I crafted needs only about 250w, so is it necessary to purchase a 500w PSU like I selected? I heard it best to have a little extra juice in case you ever choose to upgrade some components or decide to OC.

And finally, any advice of good affordable cases? Would it be best to purchase a PSU and case separately or get them both bundled together for a bit higher price?

Any other tips or advice for a first time builder would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi DustyMech,

The motherboard seem to be good, it only matters if you are planning to Crossfire or SLI or if you need to have those certain feature that a particluar motherboard has(Someone correct me if I am wrong). It is wise to have a power supply about 100-150 watts more than what you need for future upgrades and reusage for future builds if desired.

Here are some cases I would suggest in buyin( I kow they are numerous but I want to give you a variety of choices):

Thank you for the responses so far! can you tell me your reason for swapping out the fx 6300 proceesor and gtx750 TI on my build? and can you tell me why you think my mobo is no good?

really?? So I guess that I should be looking for a PSU along the lines of 400W then. Huh! Lower than i expected. thanks for the list of nice cases btw :)

I swapped the FX6300 for the Athlon 860k because the performance is almost the same, but the Athlon is MUCH cheaper. Getting the Athlon allowed for the addition of the R9 280 which is WAY more powerful than the 750ti. My psu is also far superior. My build is just a way bigger bang for your buck.
