I hope you dont mind me asking questions.

Do the CPUs perform similarly? And would you have any idea if the R9 270 will fit in the case because it looks pretty big and the case only fits cards that are 8.25in in length with the drive cage on. And does the card use dx11? because I'm not a big follower w/ tech things but I know that some of these cards use something called "Mantle" which I have no idea what it is or how to use so I want to keep it simple

And just as a side note. I will likely use your build since it comes out to about the same price but has a better GPU and most likely better performance but I will definitely not be using that horrendous piece of garbage they call Windows 8. I used it once on my uncles PC....I will never use it again. #Windows7forLife

It's not bad, but for $40-$60 more you could get this. You would run Crysis 3 on ultra for average 40 fps and on bf4 average 60 fps and minimum 40fps and it will destroy the GTX 750 ti.....

Yes. Similar cpu performance and a better DX11.2 gpu. Mantle will help you get a performance like that in BF4.:

Mantle is a game designer problem.
So we just have to enjoy the performance gain nothing more

And I am not happy with Win8 interface too mate. So i will keep using Win7 for as long as i can.

Honestly, at this budget, you're better off with an AMD processor and a stronger gpu. An overclocked FX-6300 + GTX 760 will beat an i5 + R9-270 in games any day. Also, you'll get a a better quality case in my build which can be helpful for future upgrades.

Also, about the Windows 8.1, it is faster than Windows 7. In games, you'll get an average increase of 5-10 fps over Windows 7. If you hate the interface, get a program like Start8. It makes it look like Windows 7 but you'll still keep the pros of Windows 8.1.
