Hi, my current machine is currently on the way out and I am thinking of building an upgrade. As I am new to this I thought a bit of experienced advice would be wise, heres what I already had in mind:

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K £165 http://www.dabs.com/products/intel-core-i5-2500k-3-30ghz-lga1155-6mb-79Q8.html
RAM: Corsair XMS3 4GB DDR3 1600MHz £31 http://www.dabs.com/products/corsair-xms3-4gb-ddr3-1600mhz-dimm-240-pin-76XF.html?refs=418700000-55250000-4294960364-42670000
PSU: Corsair Memory TX650 V2 650W £65 http://www.dabs.com/products/corsair-memory-tx650-v2-650w-enthusiastseries-7CHB.html?q=CMPSU-650TX

HDD: Seagate 500GB Barracuda SATA-600 7200RPM £31 http://www.dabs.com/products/seagate-500gb-barracuda-sata-600-7200rpm-16mb-7C61.html?refs=4294946772-52100000-450300000-50410
Optical drive: Sony DVD-ROM 18X SATA £10 http://www.dabs.com/products/sony-dvd-rom-18x-sata-ddu1681s-0b-blk-74NQ.html
Network card: Edimax WiFi 802.11n 32-bit PCI £15 http://www.dabs.com/products/edimax-wifi-802-11n-32-bit-pci-adapter-card-6ZT2.html?refs=4294946755-50060000-4294946783
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium OEM 64-bit £75 http://www.dabs.com/products/microsoft-windows-7-home-premium-oem-64-bit-1pk-68YS.html?q=windows%207
Total: £580
I guess I just wanted to check that everything would be compatible, and that I'm not wasting any money anywhere/not budgeting enough. Overall budget is under £600, I intend on gaming on it eventually, things like Left4Dead, but right now its a bit of an emergency replacement so I will add a decent graphics card later.
Thanks a lot
