Hi all, after years of store bought H.P. computers I have decided I would build a system from scratch. I plan on buying within the next 3-4 weeks, and the only reason I am going with AMD is cost, so I am open to other options. If I figure out how to do it I may overclock, so cooling is important. Here is what I have..

This system will be used mostly for gaming (on a budget) and internet. Thanks in advance

If you are going to OC, then you might as well get the 955BE (same exact silicon). you'll also need aftermarket cooling. A lot of good choices in this area, but definitely look at the Hyper 212+. It is a very good cooler for the money.

Okay, added the Extra cooling to the list (Hyper 212+ not compatible with Amd??) and went with the 955BE. Any other thoughts? I am about at the end of the budget.

You're going top tier on everything else, you might as well ditch the 4850x2 and pay slightly more for a 5850.

If you re-prioritized your money, you could probably fit a 5870 in that budget. I'm more about performance than flash though and in the end it's your money.

Example: I went with decent looking $50 ATX mid tower instead of a $150 for a full tower I'd never even halfway fill up.
