First time build - feedback requested

First time building a desktop for my 10-year old kids. Primarily used for such games as Crysis, Spore, Half-Life, Battlefield, Halo games. Budget needs to stay around the $700 range. All parts are from Newegg:

...well it's been a while since I took math, but its looking to me like you are way over budget. Are you asking for ways to cut down on your build without sacrificing quality? For $700 monitor included, I don't think its possible to build a computer to play crysis, most people would spend $300 or more on a GPU if they were planning on playing it.

So if you want to stay in budget, here is what I would do:
Change the E7400 to E5200
Change the Mobo to the UD3L or GIGABYTE GA-EP43-UD3L
Change the Case and PSU to Antec Sonata III
Go with this monitor instead:

I'm not sure where that puts you cost wise, but it is the best way to cut your costs I think without sacrificing too much gaming performance.

The CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W is overkill for this build. An Antec Earthwatts 430W or 500W would be enough. (40$-60$)

You could also replace the G.Skill PI Black with the regular 4GB G.Skill. That will save you 10$ without a noticeable decrease in performance.

You could also pick another cheaper case that will do the job. At the end, it's the performance that matters not how the case looks since your budget is 700$.

Antec Sonata 3, rather good looking case, good quality an comes with an EarthWatts 500W for 130$.

Also, I suggest a 1680x1050 over a 1080p (1920x1080), simply because the extra "pixels" will only tax the GPU more without much gain in overall quality.

Here's a build I made on another thread. If you get rid of the heatsink it will cut it down to $700. But if you keep the heatsink and overclock that cpu you will get alot more out of your money. Bump that cpu up to 3.5Ghz @ 1066 fsb (10.5 x 333).

btw, I added that case fan for the fact this case is set up to run 3x120mm case fans. It goes up in the front.
