Hey, I'm currently saving money to build a decent gaming pc for the summer. I have spent a while researching parts and prices and I have come up with a list of what I think will be a good pc.

This is the list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/james2415/saved/4BZFf7

I can go up to £750-£800 maybe so any improvements you guys can find would be appreciated! Plus would my part list make a good gaming pc?
Thanks!!

It's ready to game but I would grab an Intel processor because it is faster.

If you are willing to add a bit of money to the processor, the i5 4670K is the best budget gaming processor.

This is what I would recommend. I have changed: case (this one comes in a multiude of colours http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/95-phantom-410-mid-tower-case), RAM/memory, CPU, CPU cooler, motherboard. I also added in some better aftermarket thermal paste which will come handy and help keep your CPU cooler than stock.

My reasonings for changing:
Changed the Zalman Z11 plus case as although it is cheap and looks good the fan are terrible and it is hard to get to top/front for fan cleaning/removal; I have this case myself.

Changed RAM as Corsair is one of the best, if not the best RAM manufacturer out there.

Changed CPU as intel is generally better for gaming and you are not likely to need 8 cores unless you intend to be running servers or VMs etc.

Changed CPU cooler as Noctua are some of the best coolers.

Changed motherboard to be compatible and is a decent board with features for its price. You may wish to change to an Asus motherboard but that is up to you.

Thanks for reading,

My two cents
I don't think you'll need to overclock that cpu , it wont bottleneck anything
No cpu cooler needed
Good motherboard , nothing special
Good ram
SSD and HDD , nothing special
Dual superclocked ACX 770 for a very quiet , cool and beautiful card
The case is good
Faaar ! better power supply , CX psu's are made of cheap capacitors and aren't recommended for high end pc's
No optical drive
Win 7 pro
And no need of a wireless network adapter
