So i decided to build my first ever gaming pc ive had a little experience messing around with computers before and know the basics, tried building my first ever gaming pc and im getting all lights and no action. Cpu fan is spinning, ram are lighting up fine mothertboard rgb light is on but the damn thing just will not gove a signal, setup is

Mobo- asus b450m-plus gaming
Ram- corsair vengeance pro rgb 8gb x2 3000mhz
Cpu- ryzen 3 3200g
Ssd- wd green 500gb m.2
Psu corsair vs550

Ive tried breadboarding it with just cpu and 1 ram in, tried switching ram between slots and try different ram tried a different psu 300w i think of an older system and the wouldnt even fire up the system also tried a different cpu. All standoffs are in place inside my case so basically im at wits end and not sure where i have gone wrong.
Any help greatly appreciated

Is there a simple way around that, i mean i am sending the board back and getting the strix b450-f instead will i just encounter the same problem
If the motherboard BIOS on the Strix hasn't been updated then you'll have the same issue.

The only B450 boards which could work with that CPU are the MSI MAX boards which have been updated or a MSI board that supports the BIOS Flash feature, one of them is the Tomahawk.

The BIOS not being up to date is more then likely the cause but there is a "No post" checklist you can go through as well.

I think in gonna take it to shop and get them to update the bios for me dont really want to downgrade even if its minor obviously other option is to buy an x570 board instead
