This is my first time building my own computer, is this a good setup?
I didn't want to go overboard because of budget, but I don't want to buy this stuff and it not run anything/ incompatible parts.
CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1600X 3.6GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair - H60 54.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock - AB350 Pro4 ATX AM4 Motherboard
Memory: Team - T-Force Delta RGB 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2666 Memory
Boot up storage: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Secondary Storage:Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB SC GAMING Video Card
Case: Thermaltake - Core X71 Tempered Glass Edition ATX Full Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair - TXM Gold 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
OS: Microsoft - Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit

Will this be enough to run most modern games, and also VR? It costs a total of $1263, I can't go too much higher than that

Its good, but you would be better off with a intel 6 core.
Try getting the OS licence online, costs like 29$ which is way cheaper.

I've heard the 1060 6gb is okay for vr but agree with getting an intel 6 core. Also might want to look at getting more memory maybe an 8gb and a 4 gb
