First time build, pc is working but no signal on monitor

First time building pc. Fans working and everything is on, but nothing on monitor. Done cmos battery reset, plugged monitor in gpu and tested ram sockets. Nothing has worked so far. Also wondering if laptop hard drives would work.

Cpu: i7 7700
Mobo: ga h170m d3h
Hdd: wd blue 500gb sata Laptop pullout
Gpu: Gtx 1060 6gb gigabyte
Ram: 8gb Crucial ddr4
Cpu cooler: stock i7 7700
Psu: Thermaltake litepower 650w

Your motherboard DOESN'T haven't the needed BIOS update to run a Kaby CPU. Two solutions , return the board for a B250 or H270 or get a Skylakke CPU to flash BIOS.

You can't unless you have a Skylake CPU. You need a B250 or H270 board.
