I am preparing to build a computer for the first time. I am a college student on a budget ($1000-1500), but I would like to build something that will be pretty solid for around 2 years with minimal upgrades.

I plan on building an "all around" computer. I do play games, but I am not in the market for a top of the line gaming system, just something that will play today’s games decently. I will also use programs such as Photoshop and CAD software for projects. I'll use it for multimedia such as movies and video recording as well.

Here is what am thinking of getting:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+, 512k L2 Cache
MSI nForce3 250 K8N Neo Platinum
OCZ Enhanced Latency Series Dual Channel 184 Pin 1GB(512MBx2) DDR PC-3200
SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON 9800 PRO Video Card, 128MB DDR
Seagate 200GB 7200RPM Barracuda 7200.7 SATA Hard Drive
Logitech Cordless MX Duo (keyboard and mouse)
Pioneer Black DVD+RW/-RW Drive, Model DVR-108
Logitech Z640 5.1 Speakers
Antec 480W Power Supply
COOLER MASTER Praetorian Black (4 case fans included)

Total ($1300)

Are there any suggestion? Good setup for the price? Better ideas for my setup, particularly with the memory or graphics card. I might overclock in the future, once I become more familiar with overclocking.

Thanks for all your help!!!
