I'm a first time builder and my current specs for my CPU and GPU will be...

i7 3770k
MSI GeForce GTX 660 Ti
(Full List Here http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Archie/saved/#savedbuild_447955)

I've seen 660 Ti and 770 comparisons and it's only 5-13 fps difference. Is it worth putting my money into the processor or the GPU?

-If I did anything wrong let me know because i'm new to the site.

Solution

A 4670k and a GTX 770 should easily be able to.
I wouldn't get a Coolermaster PSU.

Solution
For those games, I agree with dropping to an i5 and getting a more powerful graphics card.

Havnt played BF3 for a while, but you should be able to max it at 1920x1200, with a 770 or higher.. defo.

I think my 560Ti can get near enough XD

I'm a bit over budget. Is it worth the extra $200 for the 770 or should I go with a 760?
Also if I run with a 760 will I still get ultra 1080p on bf3? If so with how many fps? (This is my main concern)

I'd stay with the GTX 760 and get a motherboard and PSU that can support SLI in the future, 53 fps at 1980x1200 so you can expect arround. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/GeForce_GTX_660_Direct_Cu_II/8.html

Why upgrade the PSU?

So in the future when this can't handle the newer games you can put a second 760 in there are almost double the performance.

I understood why I needed to upgrade the motherboard. But I still don't understand the power supply unit.

Why do you want Micro ATX? Also that board isn't really any good for SLI.

isnt 650 watt cutting it a little fine if he wants SLI?

Besides wants wrong with Micro ATX? as a gamer i dont even use half the components on my ATX board. Unless he wants SLI i would say Micro ATX would do nicely :)

SLI 760s and a 4670k uses about 520w stockclocked.
