So I'm looking to spend no more than $700 and this is the build i have decided on as of right now. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Processor - Intel Core i3 2120 $124.98

Motherboard - MSI H67A-G43 [B3] $84.99 - $20.00 rebate = $64.99

Video card - Gigabyte Radeon HD6850 1GB $140.79 - $10.00 rebate = $130.79

Hard drive - Seagate Barracuda 500GB 7200 $78.38

Optical Drive - Asus 24xDVD-RW $21.48

Power Supply - Antec VP-450 $37.56

Memory - G. SKILL NS 4GB [2 x 2GB] DDR3 1333 $22.99

CASE - Cooler Master HAF 912 $66.42

Operating System - Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64bit $96.48

Total comes to $674.07 - $30 mail-in rebate = $644.07

Any comments on better parts that will keep me under $700 is greatly appreciated.

thats $45 u can save for yourself or add on to the build that can help such as a better graphics card

i would say stick with 6850 until you can upgrade into something like a 7850

can go 6950 but it is only a bit better than 6870

other than that you can upgrade MOBO/CPU but i don't think an extra $45 will cut it for a good combo deal

another thing you can do is spend the extra $45 on a better board like a Z77 board that can upgrade into an i5 3570k later

nice combo deal. definitely go for that. i also think you should look to get more wattage on your PSU. Here's a couple good options:

Rosewill 530w 80+ certified: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182199

cooler master 450w bronze certified: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171060

Seasonic 520w bronze certified modular: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151093

any of those would be able to accommodate your video card choices and are more efficient, relatively cheap, and better than the antec you chose.

if you have a microcenter near you, you can get an i5 3570k for $190

with their deal if you buy a i5 3570k you can get $50 off on certain boards

i would go with ASrock extreme4 which will be $89.99

it will fit budget and you do not have to pay for shipping

dang that kinda sucks

if you think the gas is worth it go for it.

it is pickup only and the original price on it is $139 so with the $50 off is $89 and you have to buy the i5 3570k to get the discount

tax might make it over budget just letting you know now
