First Time Builder: Motherboard/No boot ever

Okay so its my first time building a PC and from what I've seen and understand I did everything right. (Though, if I did I wouldn't be here... Would I) When I turn it on and press the power button, two read led light flicker back and forth. Then the RGB on the board lights up red before (after a couple moments) the entire thing cuts out before flickering back on and repeating. Don't know what I did wrong.

Specs:
i5-4700
Aorus z270x-gaming k5
Be quiet! pure rock slim cpu cooler
Gtx 1050ti
Rosewill Photon 550W

Turned out to be the ddr4 ram. It was in wrong slot
