Motherboard isnt very good, weak vrms, but should be ok with the 95w cpu but not going to much upgrade or overclocking. SSD is one of the worst on the market and i suggest getting a better one. The psu is mediocre quality and way overpriced there are bigger higher quality units cheaper.

This one costs a bit more but will be faster and have better future upgrade options.

The i5 will work better than the AMD 6300 even though the i5 has 4 cores not 6?

Yes, the i5 has much better single threaded performance and easily makes up the difference. In rendering the i5 is up there with the 8 threaded FXs and will beat them in other things that are not as multithreaded.
