First time building a gaming PC on a budget, would this work?

I have created a build with the intention of gaming on it. I have found these components which I think is within my budget. But since this is the first time I'm trying building my own computer, I thought some of you kind folks would be able to take a look at my build. And see if there is anything that I have missed or something that I at least should be aware of.
I do intend to upgrade in the future. Maybe more RAM and a better GPU.

Also, is it necessary to buy a CPU cooler? I have read that when buying an intel core CPU then a CPU cooler is included. But is that true and if so would it be sufficient enough?

looks great. really good for first timer. some notes:

-cpu cooler comes in i5 box. no need to purchase one.
-samsung 850 evo is old model. 860 evo is new and is a bit cheaper.
-you picked 7th gen intel when 8th gen is out at a very similar price point. not a big deal just making sure you know. 8th gen has 6 cores rather than 4.
-you might be happier with 1060 3gb or 6gb if this is just for gaming, if you can swing it.

ill tweak it a bit for you just so you can see what I would have done.

The price for some of the component is a bit different for me since I live in Denmark. I do realize that there is a Danish version of this website, but I have found this site more useful, and friendly, in general.

However, since I live in Denmark, most of the components will have a different price. But, I will still look into the SSD and the 8th generation Intel Core, to see if there are money to be saved here, in Denmark too.

I do not think I will upgrade the GPU, not yet at least. I'm already a little over my budget.

The case I have picked out is this: Fractal Design Focus G Blue Mid Tower.
It isn't listed in pcpartpicker
I honestly don't know what to look for. Other than it should fit the motherboard, and that it should have one or two fans. I just picked this one because it was within my budget, filled the criteria of the motherboard, and looked cool.

The i3 8100 will give you a bit better performance than the i5 7500 because of the faster clock speed and still has 4 cores.
