Hello, I am in the process of building my first gaming PC. Here are a few things I have decided that I do want in my build but unsure of the motherboard to go along. Here is a list of what I want in the build.

For my storage:
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD
Paired with a 1tb HDD
Video card:
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming GDDR5 Pcie Video Graphics Card, 4GB
CPU:
Intel Core i5-4460 LGA 1150 CPU
Power supply:
EVGA 600B 100-B1-0600-KR 600W Power Supply
RAM:
2x4gb sticks?
DIsk Drive:
LG WH16NS40 Super Multi Blue Internal SATA 16x Blu-ray Disc Rewriter

Will this be a good setup for a mid range gaming pc? I am unsure of the motherboard if anyone can point me towards some good motherboards but nothing overkill on pricing but something that will work fine with my parts. Thanks!

You are better off with a good quality PSU like the following:
Antec HCG 520W
Seasonic M12II 520W
EVGA GS 550W
XFX TS 550W

These will do great with your build and are good quality.

Other than that everything seems good.

Ok thanks for the feedback. Im currently looking at ASRock Z97 Extreme3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard. Should I look into buying more fans? Im not too sure about fans. My case is a antec 900.

Z97's are for overclocking and the i5 4460 is not overclockable.

There really is no need to add more fans but if you want to, thats fine.
