Hi guys, it's my first time building a pc and here are the parts I've picked so far :

CPU : intel core i5 4690k
GPU : MSI GTX 970 4GD5 OC
MoBo : MSI Z97 gaming 5
RAM : Corsair vengeance 8Gb
CPU COOLER : Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
Case : Fractal Design Define R4
HDD : Seagate Barracuda 2Tb
SSD : Kingston 240Gb
PSU : EVGA Supernova G2

I want to play at ultra/high settings on recent games, while staying at a reasonable price.
I also plan on adding another gtx970 next year.
What do you think about this build? Any suggestions?
Do I need to buy any cables/tools to build it?
I would also want to know how much GPU brand matters(I've picked the cheapest available).
I would also like your insight on choosing a case (I would like a cheap one that can run this build with no problems).

Thanks!

I think you have a great build.
No other cables needed, just a screwdriver. (motherboard usually comes with 2 sata cables)
MSI is good for a GPU.
That case is fine, pick one you like. I personally like the Corsair 300R at this price range.
