Question First time building a pc

I built my very first pc, watched a lot of video and asked friends for help. I put it all together but everytime I boot it up, it says “Preparing Automatic Repair”
I am pretty lost rn and do not know what to do. Not everything in my pc is brand new, I did have a pre built before and just took out the SSD & HDD from that and put it into my new one. Idk if that may be a problem or not.

Yes, that may well be the issue.

A whole new system usually requires a whole new OS install.
Full wipe and reinstall.

An update: I unplugged my HDD and now it works fine? Do I turn my pc off and plug it back in or is there a problem with the HDD? I’ve never had any problems with it before.

You STILL need to do a full wipe and reinstall on the SSD.

Later, reconnect the HDD and diagnose any issues that may still exist with it.
