[SOLVED] First time building PC, please advise.

Hello, this is the first time I am building a PC. I know very little about this, but I have been doing some research and have come up with a parts list I think is OK. The website says these parts are compatible, but I am having trouble figuring out if the motherboard I've chosen has enough connections for these parts. Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Approximate Purchase Date: Hopefully March 2020

Budget Range: Under $2000

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, surfing

Are you buying a monitor: Possibly or in the future

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I've been using the PCPartPicker website and the prices they list.

Location: Wisconsin

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: My current monitor is 1600x900

Additional Comments: We want to be able to play games like Skyrim GOTY, Fallout 4 GOTY, Witcher 3, Gears of War 5, War Thunder, The Outer Worlds, and maybe Cyberpunk 2077 without issues on high graphics settings.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Our current PC is outdated and can no longer run games like Skyrim without turning off (not sure why its doing this all of a sudden). Currently cannot run most games we want to play.

These are the parts I've chosen so far:

the 9700K or KF is priced less or similarly on Amazon...

The Ryzen 3700X is $50-$60 less, and a good B450 board is even $20 less than a Z390...

Nothing wrong with the 860 EVO, but, with the money saved above, you could get a 970 EVO 1 TB (games don't really 'care' about NVME, but, the fast boot times are glorious!) IN fact, a 970 EVO is only $87 on Amazon as of today)

Drop the sound card entirely, IMO....; most mainboards today have excellent 7.1 channel sound...

This will run 1080p very well if you choose to move away from 900p later.

1)You power offs are a common symptom of failing power supply. Mixing memory can also do it.
2)Not sure why you need a 4TB HDD, but I included two, faster 2 TB HDDs for about the same price as the single 4TB.
3)I agree with the comment about the sound card.

Better yet, 2060 Super is less powerful than the RX 5700 XT. With a price not a lot different than the 2060S.
For your SSD, it's better to use a NVMe drive than a regular M.2 storage. I highly recommend Crucial's P1 NVMe storage for a price close to WD M.2 Blue 500GB

Thank you all for replying! I'm looking at your suggestions now. I only have this monitor because when I bought my PC 5 or 6 years ago I didn't know much about monitors and all that so I just grabbed one because I needed one. Honestly I really don't need a 4TB HDD, and I'll probably go with one of the 2TB suggested instead.

I picked the Intel CPU just because in my limited research I read Intel was good for gaming, but that AMD was catching up. I have only ever had Intel in any PC/laptop I've owned, but I will look into the AMD suggestions. I'm just not familiar with AMD.

Should be on par with Intel and better in CPU intensive games due to extra cores and threads...
