I have recently found a 240mm rad from Magicool (g2 slim) which is £34 compared to the EKWB CoolStream SE240 which is £47.

Which rad is better?

Also, how would i flush the system for the first time? Do i take each component and run them under tap water for a while and shake them up?

Or do i need to buy distilled water to flush the rad? I plan on using PrimoChill VUE fluid

The EK rad is better, last time I knew, Magicoool just wern't good products (things may have changed though). Things to do with quality of metals and production made them unreliable or perform badly. I would recommend XSPC rads as an affordable middleground. I've had great success with them and am really pleased, although I am selling all of my custom loop now.

To flush the system, wash each component with water, you should boil tap water to get rid of some of the bits in it, then shake the rads to clean some of the flux out. Then on first run of the built system I would run distilled water through it, or even better, a Blitz product, it's some chemicals that just clean everything out.
